Recently, TreasureNFT has disabled the reserve feature on their app and asked users to log in on their new website called TreasureFUN where they will be airdropping their own 5000 $TUFT tokens. They have also launched a presale portal on Treasure-Chain.
There is already a website named TreasureChain that is accessible from https://treasurechain.xyz and the website from TreasureNFT just added a hypen (-) in their url that is https://treasure-chain.xyz. No credible brand will use the name of an already existing company as their own an buying suspicious domain like this.
Anyways, we can now do only one thing thaat is follow their instructions to get our invested funds back. I don’t recommend you put your money at risk by investing in TreasureChainn presale, that is most likely a honeypot (scam). Instead, you can log in to TreasureFun to receive your funds and free airdrop, at least, this is what they are promising to deliver.
For this, you need to create and connect a decentralized crypto wallet to their website. Make sure you “DO NOT USE YOUR EXISING WALLET” because we can not guarantee the safety of funds in that case. Instead, I am going to share a full guide on how to create a completely new wallet safely and connect it to the TreasureFun app.
What is Decentralized crypto wallet?
A decentralized crypto wallet is a digital wallet that holds your crypto safely and you have full control over it. Unlike Centralized wallet or exchange like Binance, decentralized wallets are independent wallet that is not tied to any company, that means, any decentralized wallet company ever shut down, you can still use that wallet and your funds will be safe in that wallet and you are in control.
Also, there is no limit on the number of wallets you can create. You don not need to do KYC on decentralized wallet as well.
Creating a Decentralized Crypto wallet.
There are hundreds of decentralized crypto wallet apps but today, I am going to talk guide you to set up TrustWallet. Follow this step by step guide:
- Download the TrustWallet app from Appstore or Google Playstore
- Open the TrustWallet app and tap on Create Wallet (Secret phrase or Swift Wallet)
(I have already created my wallet that’s why my screen looks different)
You will be asked you set up 6 digit app passcode. Follow on the on-screen instructions to proceed.
- On the next screen, select Secret Phrase and tap on Create
- On the next screen, you will be asked to Buy Crypto, I will recommend you to skip this step because we are going to connect this to TreasureFun website.
Next, i am going to guide you to connect your crypto wallet on TreasureFun website to get your funds and theeir $TUFT airdrop for free (if they are really giving it).
Connect wallet to TreasureFun/TreasureNFT
- Locate browser on TrustWallet app
- Locate the search bar and search treasurefun.xyz on it
- Log in on TreasureFun using the same id and password of TreasureNFT.
- You will now see a pop-up saying “Conngratulations! You are eligible to receive tokens” with a buttonn Claim your tokens, click on that button
- On the next page, you will be asked to connect your wallet, click on Connect to wallet to get address button
- Tap on wallet connect and search Trust Wallet.
- Connect the wallet to the account and sign the message. (sign means you allow thee website to access your wallet info)
- After connecting wallet, you will see 5000 $TUFT token airdrop in your Treasurefun account
That’s it. All you have to do now is to wait for next announcement from the Treasure team to withdraw your funds and airdrop.
